The world’s first photograph will soon be 200 years old. Since then, photography has become increasingly complex. The photographer moves within the limits imposed by the technology industry. In the global project The 7th Day, the shooting technique is reduced to a minimum: a small dark room with a hole, light-sensitive paper and time. The several thousand photographs thus taken in days, months or years interpret time. Views of places, objects and situations thus experience a new aesthetic dimension in overlapping layers of time.
